Burns Light2009 has been an exceptional year. Inspired by the 250th anniversary of Robert Burns, more than 400 events have celebrated Homecoming and Scotland’s unique achievements in culture and heritage, science and innovation – and of course, whisky and golf.

Still to come, Homecoming Scotland has launched the biggest ever programme of events to mark St Andrew’s Day, Scotland’s National Day.

The spectacular programme has more than 40 events taking place across the country from 26 - 30 November 2009.

From concerts and ceilidhs, parties and parades, fireworks and fun, to music and much more, there’s so much going on to mark the end of what has been a truly celebratory year for Scotland.
