Scotland’s Winter White Explorer Pass gives you really
great value and flexibility. It means you get quick and easy
access to the stunning portfolio of Historic Scotland properties –
including favourites such as Edinburgh and Stirling Castles,
Linlithgow Palace, and the Border Abbeys.

The Winter White Explorer Pass is ideal for
visitors who want to visit a number of top class attractions during
winter trips to Scotland over the winter months. With the
Pass, free entry is included to no less than 45 paid
attractions until 31st March 2010.
Visiting them all on your Winter White break will be a
challenge in itself!
There are lots of advantages to choosing the
winter months to explore Scotland and experience its wealth of
wonderful historic properties. Visitor attractions are
usually quieter so it’s a great time to go round them at your
leisure and potentially have the place all to yourself.
Whilst the
temperatures are lower, cold crisp weather can often mean a dry day
with lovely winter sunshine and great light for dramatic or
atmospheric photography. Also, there’s no better place to
experience the magic of the festive season or the beauty of
snowdrop-blanketed gardens in spring than at a stunning Scottish
castle, palace, cathedral or abbey.
The
Winter
White Explorer Pass is a great product – you can save money
simply by visiting more than one attraction*, you can tour with
flexibility, and you can explore them all for one low cost
price. You also get express peak time entry and a
complimentary map and guide to our attractions. And the more
properties visited with the Winter White Pass, the more money you
save!
Passes
are available at a cost of £16.80 and can be purchased from
visitscotland.com.
They can be used over a 3 day within a 5 day period allowing visits
to Historic Scotland properties to be spread over time to suit
holiday or city-break itineraries.
